For the Future of Hip-Hop album and promo
Fellow OhNo!Doom member Joe Call and I were contacted by Revolutionary Music founders Bryan Ford and Jeremiah Seraphine to make an album cover for Bryan Ford's newest release. The album is titled "For the Future of Hip-Hop" and features Wu-Tang Clan alum Killah Priest along with Chicago's own Pugs Atomz and Awdazcate.
Joe and I collaborated on the initial album art, resulting in characters loosely representing featured musical artists and Joe's illustrative album logo which was used for the single. Together we brainstormed the initial layout and I pulled in some Jack Kirby inspiration for the spacey background. Using these art assets, I created new designs for additional album releases. I designed material for social, web and print to promote each release, events and performances. More on the process here.
